Tahweesha is built privacy-first. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version
Your financial data — balances, assets, goals, net worth — stays on your device. There is no account to create, and we operate no server that stores your figures. We cannot see your money.
What we store, and where
Everything you enter is saved in local storage on your device. It is not transmitted to us. If you enable the optional Pro cloud backup, your data is encrypted on your device before upload using a key only you hold — a zero-knowledge design, meaning we cannot read the contents of your backup.
Network requests we make
To keep values current, the app fetches public market data from third-party providers: gold prices, foreign-exchange rates, stock-index levels, and inflation figures. These requests retrieve public information only. They never include your balances, holdings, goals, or any personal financial data.
What we do not collect
We do not require a sign-up. We do not sell data. The app contains no advertising trackers and does not build a profile of you.
Device permissions
Face ID / biometrics are used only locally, to unlock the app if you enable the privacy lock. Notification permission, if granted, is used only to send the reminders you turn on. Neither sends your financial data anywhere.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment-card details; those are handled by the respective app store.
Children
Tahweesha is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
